The March edition of our church newsletter, The Link, is shown below. We welcome everyone to join us as we worship together. Ash Wednesday, March 5th, will be celebrated with services both at noon and again at 7pm at the church. Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Lenten season…a time of reflection and repentance, and a time to turn our thoughts toward our heavenly Father and to the final days of His Son, Jesus Christ.

Shown below is the March 2025 calendar for the Community Food Bank, housed at the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church. As noted on the calendar, the food bank is open to any Connecticut resident in need of food support. If you have any questions, or would like to contribute either food or money to the food bank, please use the contact information listed on the calendar.

The church service for tomorrow, February 16th, has been cancelled due to the storm coming in. Hopefully we can meet again next week. In the meantime, stay safe out there!

Here’s a great idea if you’re looking for something to do next Saturday night…come to our church for a free Karaoke Night!! Jeannie and Karl will be our musical guides for the evening, offering available music from most popular platforms. Get your groove on and come join the fun…and SING, SING, SING!! Due to the impending snow storm, worship service at Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church is cancelled for tomorrow, February 9th.

Notice! The Community Food Bank will NOT be open on Thursday, February 6th due to a predicted snow storm. It WILL be open the following day, Friday, February 7th from 2:00pm – 4:00pm.
