We welcome visitors and friends to join us in worship on Sunday mornings at 10am, and at any of our other events throughout the year. Spring is upon us and it’s a wonderful time to show our gratitude to our Lord for the beauty we find around us!

The May calendar for the Community Food Bank, located at 93 River Road, Pleasant Valley, behind the United Methodist Church, is shown below. The Food Bank is open to any Connecticut resident in need of food assistance. For additional questions, or to make a donation, see the note below the calendar.

Day three…the tomb is empty! Hallelujah!! Christ the Lord is Risen today! Praise God! Be joyful and sing praises to the Lord for this miracle! The Easter service this morning is at 10am, followed by a time of visiting at coffee hour. Everyone is welcome to come share this important time with us! May your Easter Sunday be truly blessed!

Our church will celebrate Palm Sunday on April 13th at our regular worship time of 10:00 am. Palms will be distributed by the children before they head off to Sunday School. Everyone is welcome to worship with us and begin the journey into Easter Week.

Our church newsletter, The Link, is now shown below. Of particular importance to note this month are the worship opportunities for Easter Week. Everyone is welcome to come worship with us as we are refreshed by God’s eternal promise and by the sacrifice of His son, Jesus. As we march into spring, keep your eyes, ears, and hearts open to the gifts that God has provided all around us!

The food bank is open to any Connecticut resident in need of food assistance.

The March edition of our church newsletter, The Link, is shown below. We welcome everyone to join us as we worship together. Ash Wednesday, March 5th, will be celebrated with services both at noon and again at 7pm at the church. Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Lenten season…a time of reflection and repentance, and a time to turn our thoughts toward our heavenly Father and to the final days of His Son, Jesus Christ.
