Christmas Services

This year our church will offer two services. The first, at 5:30 pm on Thursday, December 24th, is geared for families with children. You are encouraged to bring your little ones to the service to hear the story of Jesus’ birth, and all the amazing things that happened that night. We’re going to sing Happy Birthday to Jesus!

The second service, scheduled for 11:00 pm, is a traditional candlelight service. It will feature the old familiar hymns of joy and praise to welcome our Savior to the world.

Joy to the world…the Lord is come! Let earth receive her king! Let every heart prepare him room. And heaven and nature sing, and heaven and nature sing, and heaven and heaven and nature sing!

Come join with us this year and welcome baby Jesus into your heart!

Advent Bible Study

Our church will be offering a 4-week Advent Bible Study, beginning on Sunday, November 30th. Details about the program are listed below. If anyone is interested in participating, please contact Pastor Trudy or leave a message on the church phone.

The is the study description as stated by Cokesbury:

This thematic Bible study is designed to be used by individuals and small groups during the Advent season. The book, written by Stan Purdum, is based on the particular pathways to Jesus during Advent. In addition to the main content, each chapter offers questions for reflection and discussion, a brief prayer, and a focus for the week.

The focus emerges from the chapter content and encourages the readers to engage in spiritual practice or do something specific that will help them grow in faith. On the whole, this thematic seasonal Bible study series is designed for transformation and for applying the study of the Bible to everyday, practical life experience. It is intended to nurture and encourage faith development and spiritual growth.

An Awakening!

For Our lives….For Our Country

Friday, September 25th at 7PM

“In the American colonies an Awakening was a wave of religious enthusiasm among Christians that swept the American colonies in the 1730s and 1740s, leaving a permanent impact on American religion. This is a program to increase a spiritual interest for our lives and for our country. Spiritual awakening is mainly about more and more people seeing and savoring the glory of Jesus Christ.”

Jesus said: “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hJesus said: “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, thenear from Heaven, and will forgive their sins, and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)

Come join us for the revival of your spirit as we enjoy lots of music, messages from Rev. Kregg Gabor and from Jonathan Gouthier, followed by a time of fellowship and refreshments. This event is free and open to the public so bring your family, friends, and neighbors as we “awaken” from our lethargy and once again reaffirm our faith in Jesus Christ and His loving father. It’s time to work together again to make God’s kingdom here on earth.
